Bridge the Roads by Franka De Mille

My wonderfully talented friend Franka's first album Bridge the Roads releases Autumn 2010! Please visit her beautiful website where you can learn more about the journey she has been on to bring this album to our ears.  You can also listen to samples of her music on the site and there are links for ordering the album.

I invite you all to listen to what I believe is one of the best Goth Folk musical releases of 2010 Bridge the Roads by Franka De Mille.

**Please note that the tri-fold case was for the Christmas Pre-release Special Edition**

Blood and Mistletoe

I received some strange looks while hanging mistletoe today.  I'm not the only person who hangs mistletoe above my bedroom window, am I??

Happy Holidays everyone.  May all your holiday wishes and dreams come true.

The Gothic Works of Glenn James

I would like to share with you all the magnificent work of Gothic artist and writer Glenn James.  Do you ever look upon a piece of art and it speaks to you deeply? This was my reaction when visiting his website recently. I was awestruck.  Somehow this man had captured the very likeness of the creatures within my head. A useful skill indeed! I was also delighted to learn that Mr. James does work as an illustrator.  I do believe, dear readers, that you may be seeing more of Glenn's work here in the future.

In the meantime please visit Glenn's beautiful website The Gothic Works of Glenn James for more of his work.

E.J. Stevens in London

Dark poet E.J. Stevens was caught on film while in London this past week!

Lovely week in London

I have safely returned home after a most wonderful week in beautiful London.

As promised I will be sharing photos from my travels. I tend to be more passionate about experiencing a journey rather than photographing it but I do have a few photos which capture the feel of the trip.  Enjoy!

Up next, shopping pics!

Twilight Sightings in London

While traveling around London these adverts for New Moon were often racing past in my peripheral vision.

Damaris

Patrick Wolf just released the video to the song Damaris off his recently released Bachelor album.  The Damaris video can be seen today exclusively at the Guardian and will be available tomorrow on Patrick's Youtube channel.

How can one man contain that much sexy? Patrick has done it again. I thought he had perfected the art of passionately rolling in the leaf litter for his Tristan video but he has topped himself with Damaris. I am now waiting with bated breath to see him perform this Sunday at the London Palladium. I can't wait. His live show in Boston this Summer was the most amazing show I've ever experienced.

For more information on Patrick Wolf and his music check out my previous blog Goth Folk or visit his official web page.
