Cryptid

While doing research for my new book 'Shadows of Myth and Legend' I came across a word I was unfamiliar with and thought I would share.

Cryptid (from the greek "κρύπτω" meaning "hide") is a term which is used in cryptozoology to refer to a creature whose existence has been suggested but lacks scientific support. Such entities include Bigfoot, Yeti, and the Loch Ness Monster.

  1. Taking a break from research now. I completed three poems for 'Shadows of Myth and Legend' today so I'm off to order some extra spicy Thai food to celebrate! :)
