p.g 31, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.
O.k., I went a bit overboard and gave you nearly a paragraph this week but there was so much emotion and foreshadowing in these sentences making it a tantalizing teaser. Enjoy!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
It's hard to choose just one small passage! :P But that's a really great pick. The emotion and mood is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteDespite what others have been saying, I really liked this book. Reviewed it too: http://kateevangelistarandr.blogspot.com/2010/01/hush-hush-by-becca-fitzpatrick.html
ReplyDeleteSometimes the teaser just needs to be stretched out a bit!
