Romance trading cards are the new big thing (click here to learn more about RTCs) so I decided to design character cards for each book in the Spirit Guide series. A limited run of physical cards will be available later this year.

ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! I have the postcard of the cover with Yuki hanging on my bulletin board. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea.
Wow! Love the cards.
ReplyDelete@LunaMoth: I know, right? The model absolutely captures Gordy's hipster hotness potential.
ReplyDelete@Jules@OneBookShy: Is it wrong for me to be in love with that cover? LOL! Glad you're enjoying the postcard. I have some Spirit Storm posters up for grabs in the Spirit Storm giveaway here at FtS and a giveaway ending soon at I Am A Reader's blog. ;)
@ChrisS: So glad you like them!

ReplyDeleteThese are really neat. I went to the site that they're also on and looked at the other ones there, too. They look good. However, when you click onto each card, you don't get a 'close-up' of the pic & some of them have a lot of writing on them but you can't read them. When you click on any card, it just takes you to the website of the author & most of them don't seem to have any info on the Romance Trading Cards and no way to see/read them up close (like you do). [I know there's nothing you can do about that, other than maybe mention this on their site or email them about it. :)
These remind me of baseball trading cards, but they're for grown-up girls/women. lol
Lea Ellen {night owl in IL}
I love the idea. What fun!
ReplyDeleteUh, I haven't read the books yet but I'm thinking Calvin and Simon are drool worthy. I don't know if they're bad guys are anything,but looks alone yum! I like girl trading cards! That sounds like fun. Why hasn't anyone else thought of this, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteHeather
love these. just as fun to collect as bookmarks!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm not the only one who is excited, LOL. I have packs of She Smells the Dead and Spirit Storm trading cards, 5 cards per pack, shipping to me now. I will wrap each pack with silk ribbon and begin mailing out to my fab fans very soon! :)
