ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading poetry and have written some for myself in the past. It's seems to work well for me as a way to express what I'm feeling emotionally, physically, whatever-ly at certain points in my life. Writing 'it' out sometimes works better than trying to explain your feelings verbally.
Your two books have wonderful reviews and I'd love to read them. I remember reading letters & thoughts from the dead in "Spoonriver Anthology" a book that came out years ago. I think your books may have a bit more 'bite' to them & are probably more contemporary than "Spoonriver"...:> Also, it seems you tackle some different topics with your mythology/legends book.
The artwork is hauntingly lovely on your book covers, too. Okay...I've got to read your two books, E.J.!
